Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) to Oracle

Modified on Wed, 26 Feb at 9:13 AM

We have introduced a Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) to Oracle to improve our system security and strengthen the protection of sensitive data and resources.

What does this mean?

  • You will need an Oracle Mobile Authenticator App, or another Authenticator App, like Microsoft Authenticator on your device before using Oracle to access items including your pay slip, to book an absence or to use the Oracle procurement system in future.
  • There will be two links. Once you have received an email with your username and temporary password inviting you to enroll in MFA, we ask that you use the new MFA enabled Oracle link. You will be prompted to reset your password and enroll in the MFA at the first log-in.
What do I need to do?

  • To use Oracle MFA, you’ll need to install an Oracle Mobile Authenticator App or already have some other authenticator like Microsoft Authenticator on your device. If you already have a different authenticator, like Microsoft Authenticator, no action needs to be taken.
  •  An email will be sent out to notify you once your Division goes live with the MFA roll out.
  • You can follow the instructions here on Stay Connected to enroll. Do not attempt to enroll, until you’ve received an email, as you will be unable to do so.
