Smarter Miles – New Scheme

We’re launching Smarter Miles to help boost your take-home pay by giving you national insurance relief on business miles.

**How it works:**Every month, a portion of your salary is exchanged for a mileage payment (the Smarter Miles adjustment). This payment is not subject to national insurance, resulting in savings for you. For example, if you drive 1,000 business miles, you could save around £24 on NIC.

What you need to do:

• Keep using your fuel card as normal.
• Always scan your Samsara QR code before driving your company van—this is essential to track your business miles.

The scheme launches in early 2026, and adjustments are processed a month in arrears after validation.
