If you are an employee who is receipt of car allowance and claims for business miles, you are able to claim back back from HMRC the difference between the reimbursement rate for business miles and the 45p/25p approved rate. 


The confirmed process for this is as follows:- 


  1. TMC send M Group employees the information they require to submit their P87 statements to HMRC.  
  2. This information will be sent May/June to applicable drivers so they should receive this soon.
