If you would like to book a training course, please get in touch with the TrainWithUs team.

All training must be booked through our team – under no circumstances should any individual contact a training provider directly and attempt to make a booking on behalf of the business.

Before contacting the team, please have a look on Competency Cloud to see if we have any suitable courses scheduled. For further guidance on how to see if a course has spaces available, please see this article

I can see a suitable course on the Competency Cloud calendar…

Once you have had a look through the calendar and found a suitable course, please get in touch with the TrainWithUs team using this form, selecting the Add delegate(s) to an existing course option.

As part of the form, you will need to provide a valid Oracle cost string for us to confirm your booking – this should be in the format XXXX-XXXX-XXXXXXX-XXXXXXX. Please do not submit tickets using partial Oracle codes or old-style cost codes (such as 6068 or W0627). Tickets submitted without a full Oracle cost string will be put on hold until you can provide this information.

I’ve had a look on Competency Cloud but I cannot see a suitable course…

If you cannot find a suitable course on Competency Cloud, please submit a ticket to the team using this formselecting the New training request option.

In the ticket description, please provide as much information as possible, including:

  • Course title (and awarding body, if applicable)
  • Name of the delegate(s) who need the training
  • Preferred location
  • Any date restrictions
  • If requesting plant training, please provide details of your previous experience operating the plant.

Examples of a bad training description:

  • "Hi, I need dates for an excavator course."
  • “Hi, can I have dates for streetworks training”

Examples of a good training description:

  • "Hi, I have 2x team members who require NPORS training on a tracked excavator 360. The delegates are Bob Smith and Ryan Green and both have never operated an excavator before. They are available to complete the training any date after 01st March in the Somerset area."
  • "Hi, my streetworks supervisor ticket is due for renewal by 01 May. Please could you let me know available dates for me to attend a refresher course in the Manchester area? I am on holiday from 18-22 March."

If you prefer, you can also give us a call on 0161 507 7966 to discuss your requirements with a member of the team. All calls are recorded for quality and monitoring purposes.
